As
a community mentor, we ask for a commitment of one year.
Our community mentors spend three hours
each week with a youth incarcerated or recently released from one of the
state's juvenile correctional facilities.
The AIM program is in operation in several of
Indiana's juvenile correctional facilities. Our mentors
are given flexibility in deciding their weekly schedule,
assigned youth and facility.
Throughout the year long commitment, mentors receive
training and support from AIM staff.
